Grab yourself a pint, then get back in the fight!
We are a really friendly guild that likes to have fun together & actively use Ventrilo both for our missions together & some friendly banter. Our varied members range from the very casual who only log in when they can, to the hardcore crew who are online every single day! We believe that building rapport & communication with others is important & also the key to success upon the battlefield. Most importantly we understand that we play WAR in order to enjoy ourselves, escape from Real Life & perhaps meet like-minded individuals from all over Europe.

We believe that ALL our members are equal regardless of how often they log on or whatever Tier they decide to play. We make no demands upon our members only that they treat others with the same respect that they expect to receive themselves whenever they play. Most importantly, we want them to laugh & be merry as we all believe that members who laugh together will also win together!

We are a proud member of Cats of War Alliance with Body Count, Danish Huscarls, Hellenes, Tears of the Asur, & just recently Last Resort, Shadows of the Dragon, Sons of Zeus,Dragonwake Templars guilds. As the guild has branched off into other games Sklymoren is the leader of our WAR Unity guild. He is also responsible for the recent positive changes with the guild and is heavily involved with the planning and execution of both guild and alliance events. This means that now all Unity guild members can be reinforced anytime on the battlefield & also partake in much larger Alliance organised events too such as pre-made scenarios, dungeon runs & our very own Open Realm v Realm warbands.

Our Aims:

* To make an impact on the RvR battlefield.
* To work together in achieving our goals.
* To be consistently victorious over Destruction.
* To make new friends from all over Europe & from all walks of life.
* Most importantly to have fun together!

UNITY GUILD MEMBER GUIDELINES:

1.) Senior Officer ranks are Veteran Officers and above. While we do have a casual approach to running the guild, please always respect your guild officers as they are representatives of guild administration policies and are there to help, especially when the Guild Leaders are not available.
Note: Junior Officer ranks, they have certain guild privileges that enable them to assist Senior Officers and other fellow members.

2.) Please remember it is a prerequisite of all members to sign up & register all characters to the guild website. This allows ease of communication and enables members to keep appraised of guild news while partaking in guild discussions.

3.) Be respectful to other players. Verbal abuse of any kind will not be tolerated. We understand people can get frustrated at times, yet this can be clearly communicated without being offensive. Remember it's meant to be an enjoyable experience for everyone!

4.) While we DON'T have a minimum requirement for play-time, if you are going to be away for an extended period (One month or more) please inform a guild officer or the guild leader so we do not accidentally kick you from the guild for being inactive as this affects how quickly the guild ranks. If this does happen erroneously then simply ask any guild member for a re-invite immediately. It will also help to keep the guild member notes updated on any new alt you may have added to the guild roster as we will be monitoring the inactives from this guide.

5.) We are open to suggestions from all members, this is your guild too and we value each member’s opinion. Feel free to conatct any of the Officers at any time, that's one of the reasons they're around!

6.) At Unity we like to foster a friendly atmosphere and enjoy having a laugh, however please remember to be aware of different cultural norms and ensure that what may be funny to you is not offensive to other members & other players. If in doubt, just don't say it! Remember that all members are representing Unity at all times & unlike some players, here at Unity we attempt to treat others how we'd expect to be treated ourselves, ALWAYS!

7.) While there are no strict rules to play style, our goal at Unity is to create a mutually beneficial arrangement between each member and the guild as a whole. As such it is important for members to lend a hand whenever possible and to support each other when needed. Remember that this is also an opportunity to meet new friends from other cultures, so enjoy yourselves together!
Please Note: If you prefer to only play solo then joining a guild is probably not best suited for your play style.

8.) Use of Ventrilo is not a requirement however it is a useful tool for effective communication and if possible it would be appreciated if members used the ventrilo service that is available to them. Even if you do not wish to speak, just listen in while we have a laugh and generally get ourselves organised for a variety of activities.

9.) Any potential disciplinary issues that may arise with any member(s) will be evaluated by guild officers and leaders and dealt with accordingly. We like to give people the benefit of the doubt and will not act until all parties involved have been contacted and an officer discussion has taken place.

10.) While we have an open recruitment policy with no stringent requirements to join, please refrain from spam inviting people. If you wish to invite someone you feel would be a good addition to the guild, send them a private message and personally invite them, answering any questions that they may have regarding the guild as a whole. Please note that guild officers will attempt to contact new members in order to formally welcome them to the guild.

*Please note these guidelines may be altered, dependent upon circumstances and other factors regarding Unity.
